REFUND & CANCELLATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

 These Terms shall constitute the entire agreement between Ananda Wellness Holistic Getaways and the Client relating to the subject matter herein and shall constitute a binding agreement. There is no verbal or written; representation, warranty, prior agreement, or description of services, other than as expressed herein. The contract and booking are made with, and services will be provided by Ananda Wellness Holistic Getaways. By booking a getaway or retreat, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions that govern the relationship, the cancellation policy, and limitations of liability. These Terms and Conditions affect your rights and designate the governing law and forum for the resolution of any and all disputes.

​BOOKING GETAWAYS RETREATS & THE CONTRACT

All persons wishing to make a booking have carefully read and understand the Terms and Conditions that follow. By making a booking with Ananda Wellness Holistic Getaways or through Ananda Wellness, you accept on behalf of yourself and all those named on the booking, to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. A booking is accepted and becomes definite from the date you have completed the payment, deposit payment or first payment on a payment plan. A member of our team will contact you within 3 (three) days, regarding your completed registration to confirm your booking and participation in the getaway or retreat. Confirmation of your participation does not necessarily mean that your trip is confirmed to run. In order for our getaways or retreats to take place we require a minimum of 4 participants, unless otherwise stated and or booking as or for a solo getaway or retreat.

 

**Please note that we only getaways and retreats and related activities to those 18 years of age and over, unless otherwise stated or agreed upon in writing.

 

• All Ananda Wellness & Ananda Wellness Holistic Getaways Retreats, including those as co-host, or collaboration require prior booking and payment online or via eft.
• All Retreats / Getaways and collaboration or co-hosted retreat / getaways payments are non-refundable and non-transferable – unless otherwise stated or agreed upon in writing.
• All Retreats / Getaways and collaboration or co-hosted retreats / getaways that require a deposit, is non-refundable. Even if cancelled within the minimum time-period mentioned.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice. No refunds given for lowered prices, the same as we will not ask you to pay more for an increased price after your payment is received.   
• Retreats/ Getaways and collaborations or co-hosted retreats / getaways must be cancelled with a minimum of 30 (thirty) days written notice given via email prior to the start date of the retreat, getaways, collaboration, or co-hosted retreat / getaway date to qualify for a 50% refund of the total amount paid by you, this refund will exclude the non-refundable deposit paid. No refunds, credits or transfers will be granted for any reason whatsoever after the 30 (thirty) days minimum period has lapsed. Unfortunately, regardless of the reason for cancellation,  no exceptions will be made. In the case of a natural disaster, Ananda Wellness & Ananda Wellness Holistic Getaways applies to the “act of god” rule and no fees will be reversed.
• All cancellations approved that require refunds will be charged an additional refund administration fee of 5% of the total refund amount, this 5% will be deducted automatically and prior to any payment refunded and cannot be paid separately.
• Ananda Wellness & Ananda Wellness Holistic Getaways is not responsible for any fees incurred due to currency exchange or fees charged by your credit card/bank for processing funds in another currency.
• Medical Conditions & Special Requirements: The Client must inform Ananda Wellness or Ananda Wellness Getaways on via email of any medical conditions, pregnancy, disability or any other mental and or physical condition which may affect fitness to travel or partake in any of the retreat or getaway offerings, including medications you are currently taking. Failure to notify us may result in the Client being refused certain activities during the retreat at the Client’s own expense.
• Airfare or Transfers: All Ananda Wellness & Ananda Wellness Holistic Getaways and retreats do not include national or international airfare or transfers unless otherwise stated.
• Travel & Health Insurance: Ananda Wellness and Ananda Wellness Holistic Getaways recommends clients obtain travel and medical insurance. This insurance must cover personal injury and emergency medical expenses including, but not limited to, helicopter evacuation, air ambulance and repatriation. The Client acknowledges that we do not include insurance, and that the Client has been advised to obtain separate coverage at an additional cost.
• Evacuation Procedures and costs: Ananda Wellness & Ananda Wellness Holistic Getaways retreat Hosts, leaders, local guides, or other representative’s decisions will at all times be final on all matters likely to affect the safety and well-being of the trip. We reserve the right to prohibit any traveller from continuing on a trip with no right of refund if, in our opinion, that traveller’s actions pose a threat to the safety of others, to the wildlife, themselves, or if the traveller’s actions and/or behaviours are harming the enjoyment of the trip for others. Evacuation costs are to be covered by the person being evacuated.
• Safety & Trip enjoyment: We reserves the right to prohibit any Client from continuing on a trip, getaway or retreat with no right of refund if, in our opinion, that Client’s actions pose a threat to the safety of them, others, or to the wildlife, or if that Client’s actions or behaviours are seriously jeopardizing the enjoyment of the trip for others. The decision of the Getaway or Retreat Leader or representative will at all times be final on all matters likely to affect the safety and well-being of the trip.
• Health & Fitness: Most of our Holistic Getaways or Retreats should not be overly strenuous for people who are healthy and reasonably fit. If you (or anyone on whose behalf you are booking) are affected by any condition, medical or otherwise, that might affect your or other people’s enjoyment of the trip, you must advise us of this at the time of booking. If your health or fitness changes between the time of booking and your trip departure date, you must notify us of these changes before the retreat starts.
• Photos, Video And Content Creation: In the course of participation in an Ananda Wellness or Holistic Getaways retreat, photos or video may be taken by participants, guides and professional photographers. These images may be used in any of our promotional materials, website, all social media platforms (i.e. Instagram), etc., unless Clients specifically request in writing to not use any material your image is depicted in. On or before attendance of the getaway or retreat booked and paid for, the Client is required to sign our RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, until then it is agreed that you accept and understand that photos, videos and content creation will take place and will be used as mentioned.
• Waiver Of Booking Conditions: These Booking Terms and Conditions may only be waived or amended by written mutual consent. When a Client completes, submits, and makes the payment for booking their place for a getaway or retreat, they agree to accept all these conditions, and when the booking is accepted, Ananda Wellness & Ananda Wellness Holistic Getaways agrees to carry out the obligations as defined therein.
